Pet Policy
We know that dogs are a part of the family. We have a Shih Tzu and so have decided to allow dogs( sorry no cats) Since this is our second home we have purchased nice leather furniture, expensive dining furniture etc. We expect your pet to be a “good citizen” in his vacation home. We are happy to share our home with other dog owners who expect their dog to have impeccable behaviour .
The house is in a walking neighborhood and you can walk your dog from the door- PLEASE pick up after your pet. Also we are extremely lucky here to enjoy a PET FRIENDLY beach where leashed dogs are welcome all year round.
Miniature/Small dogs under 25lbs accepted, with prior permission. Certain breeds excluded .
Maximum number of dogs permitted- 2
Pet fee is $100 per dog non refundable.
$250 pet deposit- refundable provided there is no damage, such as scratched doors, no dog odor, no business in the yard and no fleas in the house
There is a fenced yard- dogs are not permitted to do their business in the yard.
There is also an out door dog pen suitable for miniature breed dogs
Dogs must be groomed/bathed just before arrival
Dogs must be up to date on their flea medication
The living room has carpet so the home is only suitable for dogs that are completely house trained such as crate trained dogs like ours.
Owners are not permitted to leave the dog in the house unattended unless in a crate.
Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms
Inspection- on the day of departure the Housekeeper will inspect the house and yard in order to release your pet damage deposit. If there are any issues we will notify you immediately.
